MEET THE CHEF
My name is Jesse Bloom–My passion is bringing people together and food is my medium. I believe that magic is possible when we understand that we are connected to, a part of, and in-service to, something greater than ourselves. This is the essence of the “Sacred” in Sacred Kitchen. It is an honor and a delight to bring teams and organizations to the kitchen table to connect in a most ancient way–over food.
I believe a potent and clear answer to this question creates a clarity of purpose and mission for individuals, teams. This is the starting and ending place of my work.

My mission is to bring people together around food–because when we understand how our stories, cultures and traditions connect with those around us, we gain fluency in relating to one another and fluidity in weaving our worlds together in ways that create positive relationships.
ALCHEMY IN THE KITCHEN
I base my transformational group work in the kitchen because it’s my native terroir–A home for expressing my passion, creativity and a launching pad for making social impact since 1999. Gatherings around food are inherently inclusive as, after all, everyone speaks “food.”
The kitchen has been my primary laboratory for understanding the art and craft of leadership and in that way becomes the ground upon which I can understand and share my perspective on your team and organization.
MY APPROACH
My perspective is rooted in the joy and power I’ve discovered in being a father, 25+ years of kitchen leadership and in my personal practice. The alchemy of these ingredients yields a concoction that is accessible to people of all spiritual orientations and brings out the best in my clients and their companies. I care deeply about social justice and am passionate about creating a felt sense of welcome for all people at our events and in my community.
